Kumar Sangakkara endorses PGC-2015
"The vision and effort of St. Peter's College OBU Washington, D.C. - SPCOBUWDC in organizing golf tournaments to channel funds to children related causes, is commendable. SPCOBUWDC has contributed over $16,000 to different children's charities in Sri Lanka and USA since the inaugural 2012 tournament. The 4th annual Peterite Golf Classic - Charity Tournament at Virginia Oaks in July 2015 will have attractive prizes and exciting competitions and I encourage golfers of all ranks to participate in the tournament and help to make a difference in the lives of children.
I wish SPCOBUWDC all success in their fund raising efforts.”
Kumar Sangakkara-Former Sri Lankan Cricket Captain
To initiate support for worthwhile projects of this nature elevating the standards especially for improved health care and career guidance opportunities for students are hugely admirable particularly in the context of not forgetting one's own nation as well as your alma mater whilst being overseas. Such contributions collectively will enable a positive change that we all aspire to achieve for the greater well-being of our people.

A CAREER GUIDANCE CENTER FOR ST. PETER'S COLLEGE
At no time in life is the need for guidance more critical than in the transition from school into the work force. The right choice of a career path or vocation, adequate preparation and guided navigation, will ensure a greater chance of success. Establishing a quality career guidance program is important to prepare young people entering the work force to be more competitive in the global economy and above all, to lead meaningful, successful, and productive lives. ..
